Grant is provided under the Community Outreach and Leadership Development Project (6740301) in South Africa to the National Women"s Resource and Service Center, a black-led South African women"s organization, to provide voter education to women in disadvantaged communities in the KwaZulu Natal area so that they may participate in the country"s first nonracial national elections in April 1994.

Abstract
Activities will consist of training of trainers in voter education, followed by workshops. In all, about 1.6 million women will be reached.
