Grant is provided under the regional Intercountry Technology Transfer project to the Chile-Washington State Partners (CWSP) to (1) strengthen its financial management capacity, and (2) undertake an outreach campaign to increase support from the Chilean business community.

Abstract
To fulfill the first purpose, CWSP will install a computerized accounting system, and will provide USAID/Chile the financial information needed to register as a bona fide PVO. To fulfill the second, CWSP will (1) assess the possibility of implementing, in cooperation with local businesses, a program similar to the Junior Achievement organization in the United States, and (2) develop a communications strategy to increase individual and corporate membership, to include publication of four quarterly newsletters.
