Abstract
IESC will provide TA to up to 20 Kenyan firms and/or groups of firms per year for seven years. Most of the TA will be in production and operations, with marketing, planning, and other types of assistance provided as needed. The length of the advisory services to each firm or group of firms will average two and a half months. Priority will be given to small, labor- intensive firms in the agribusiness and export sectors whose assistance needs cannot be filled from within Kenya. Additionally, firms receiving assistance must have a majority of their shares held by private Kenyan citizens or entities. All recipient firms will pay at least a minimum fee for IESC"s assistance.
