Grant is provided under the Program Development and Support Project (6150510) in Kenya to help the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) develop a five-year strategic plan aimed at enhancing its organizational ability to serve the people and governments of Eastern Africa.

Abstract

The grant will help AMREF to: develop a process for monitoring the implementaton and evaluation of the strategic plan, define the organizational structure required to implement the plan, support AMREF working group activities, develop a strategy for organizational financing, and share experience in corporate planning, particularly the strategic planning process.
