Grant is provided under the Linking Dairy Products with Development project (9380706) to the Blue Ridge Christian Home Foundation (BRCH) to increase the distribution of Section 416 surplus dairy products in Haiti and to implement well drilling programs throughout the country.

Abstract
The BRCH will expand its own dairy products distribution program to 400 MT annually, as well as support the distribution programs of ten other PVO"s, for a consolidated program total of 2,000 MT annually, reaching an estimated 200,000 recipients. Additionally, BRCH will drill approximately 20 new wells annually in communities lacking safe drinking water. This activity is expected to increase the demand for milk among children in these communities, in that they will no longer be subject to waterborne diseases.
