The village is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including healthy sea grass and coral ecosystems in the Numamuram Straits. Dolphins and dugongs can be spotted in the waters surrounding Numamura Island, and the area is also renowned for its beautiful coral fishes, lobsters, and sea cucumbers.
