Abstract
The nurse coordinator prepares a strip in the morning for each PW. Upon arrival, PW proceed to the ANC registration area, where clinic staff registers them. PW then collect their urine in a bottle, which is subsequently tested using a dipstick by clinic staff. The dipstick result is recorded on the PW's ANC card and in Study register #2. The coded urine bottle is then placed on a tray, which will be transported to RA2. The ANC checkup process involves several steps, with RA1, the nurse, recording the code in Study register #1, obtaining consent, and providing the PW with a coded urine bottle, instructions, and a bottle of water. RA2, the lab assistant, performs a new test, records the code and result in Study register #3, and conducts an Esbach test the following day, recording the code and result. RA3 is responsible for collecting prepared test strips from clinic staff before the ANC starts and providing them to PW, along with instructions using flashcards. PW then perform a self-test in the toilet and return to interpret and read the result. The test is pre-prepared with 10 strips, and the results are recorded in Study Register #4, including the PW's test reading and RA's test reading. Additionally, RA4 conducts IDI and FGD sessions in the ANC waiting area. Upon completion of the ANC checkup, PW exit the ANC dipstick testing area.
