During the reporting period, the IMC health team conducted 7 supportive supervisory visits to 5 supported health facilities in Sana'a, with a further 9 supportive monitoring visits conducted jointly with the GHO and DHO in Sana'a governorate. The team also conducted on-the-job training for health managers on emergency quality control monitoring in health facilities. In Ibb, the IMC team secured a pass authorization permit and conducted 8 supervisory visits to the supported health facilities in Al Qafr in September 2021. In Taiz, no field visit was conducted due to lack of pass authorization during September. The team also conducted coordination meetings with GHOs in Ibb and Taiz for the resumption of activities, obtaining team pass authorization, training health workers, selection and training of CHVs, and distribution of medication from the Sana'a warehouse to the health facilities in Alqafr district in Ibb. In IRG-controlled areas, IMC maintained support to 9 health facilities, including 1 SC where severe acute malnutrition cases with medical complications receive advanced care, alongside full primary health care and nutrition services. One mobile team continued to provide both nutrition and health services to IDP locations in Al Dhalee. A total of 13 supportive supervisory visits were conducted jointly with the GHO and DHO in Al Dhalee governorate.
