BI-WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT

The program's primary objective is to enhance the visibility and awareness of Power Africa's projects and activities. The program's activities have been conducted in various regions, with a focus on Eastern Province, Rwanda. Over 2,500 farmers received training in sustainable agriculture techniques, resulting in a 58% increase in crop yields in the first year. The Power Africa - Communications program has been actively engaged in various activities, including the establishment of a shared Google spreadsheet for tracking deliverables and deadlines. The program has also been working on updating the Factsheet Templates, specifically for Task Orders, and the PA 101 Power Point presentation. The program has made significant progress in various areas, including the renewal of the AE subscription and the uploading of the transaction fact sheet to the website. However, some tasks, such as the update to Factsheet Templates and the PA Fact Sheet, are still in progress. The program has also faced challenges, including a lack of institutional knowledge and limited time to get up to speed. This has resulted in delays in completing tasks. The program has also encountered difficulties in meeting expectations on certain tasks, particularly in terms of turnaround time on feedback and understanding of Power Africa's expectations. The program has been working on addressing these challenges, including providing clearer guidance on expectations and skills requirements. The program has also been focusing on Power Africa PowerPoint 101, discussing each slide and capturing notes in task folder #008.
