The project is part of the Componente de Donaciones of the USAID|NEXOS program, executed by HELVETAS through the Empresa Asociativa de Producción y Servicios de Mantenimiento Vial "CURICUNQUE". The objective of the project is to improve the local road network through the strengthening of microenterprises that offer certified local services for road maintenance and repair. The project involves the implementation of a plan for the formation of entrepreneurial skills for the management of a microenterprise of road infrastructure in the municipality of Belén, as well as the repair of critical points on tertiary roads. The works will contribute to ensuring access to public and market services. To achieve these results, 20 critical points were repaired, including the construction of 15 culverts and 5 masonry bridges in prioritized road sections in the municipality of Belén, attended through the provision of local services offered by the "Curicunque" company.
