Abstract
The program aims to enhance civil society's infrastructure and individual organizational capacity, with the goal of supporting civil society organizations (CSOs) and coalitions that engage in advocacy initiatives. CSSP encourages greater engagement between CSOs and government institutions, with the objective of increasing CSO contributions in public policy. To achieve this goal, CSSP provides technical assistance in policy advocacy, legal framework development, government-CSO dialogue, and tailored capacity-building to both local government and CSOs. The program delivers capacity development activities to CSOs, including policy advocacy, legal framework development, and government-CSO dialogue. CSSP also provides tailored capacity-building to local government and CSOs, including local grantees, coalitions, and United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Intermediate Service Organizations (ISOs) in target regions. CSSP's strategy focuses on strengthening the organizational capacity of Moroccan CSOs, enhancing their advocacy and oversight efforts, and promoting their participation in the public policy process. The program aims to support CSOs in developing their capacity to engage in policy advocacy, legal framework development, and government-CSO dialogue. CSSP also seeks to promote greater engagement between CSOs and government institutions, with the objective of increasing CSO contributions in public policy. The program's activities are guided by a set of outcomes, including the strengthening of CSO organizational capacity, the enhancement of CSO advocacy and oversight efforts, and the promotion of CSO participation in the public policy process. CSSP's outcomes are measured through a set of performance indicators, including the number of CSOs strengthened, the number of advocacy initiatives supported, and the level of CSO participation in the public policy process. CSSP's progress is monitored through a set of metrics, including the number of CSOs participating in the program, the number of advocacy initiatives supported, and the level of CSO participation in the public policy process. The program's progress is also evaluated through a midterm evaluation, which assesses the program's achievements and identifies areas for improvement. CSSP's partnership with local government and CSOs is critical to the program's success. The program works closely with local government institutions to develop and implement policies that support CSO participation in the public policy process. CSSP also works with CSOs to develop their capacity to engage in policy advocacy, legal framework development, and government-CSO dialogue. The program's geographic focus is on Morocco, with a specific emphasis on the target regions. CSSP's activities are designed to support CSOs in these regions, with the goal of promoting greater engagement between CSOs and government institutions. The program's timeframes are guided by the four-year implementation period, with quarterly reporting requirements to ensure accountability and transparency. Overall, CSSP's goal is to strengthen civil society's infrastructure and individual organizational capacity, with the objective of supporting CSOs and coalitions that engage in advocacy initiatives. The program's activities are guided by a set of outcomes, which are measured through a set of performance indicators. CSSP's progress is monitored through a set of metrics, and the program's partnership with local government and CSOs is critical to its success.
