Abstract
The plan aims to increase awareness and adoption of water-saving practices and technologies among farmers and households in Jordan. Key objectives include: * Facilitating the participation of agriculture water-saving technology suppliers in the SAWSANA exhibition * Supporting the Yarmouk Water Company in promoting water-saving technologies to households * Providing technical guidance and support to providers of water-saving technologies to launch a campaign to enhance brand awareness * Organizing events and public relations activities to promote water-saving technologies and financial products and schemes The plan also includes the development of digital platforms and applications, such as the Loan Management System (LMS) and the External Hub, to facilitate access to financial products and services for households and agriculture market actors. Implementation of the plan will be led by the Communication and Outreach Team, with support from various stakeholders, including the Agriculture Team, Institutional Strengthening Team, and Access to Finance Team. Key activities include: * Organizing B2B meetings between agriculture water-saving technology suppliers, household water-saving technology suppliers, and financial institutions * Promoting water-saving technologies and financial products and schemes through various channels, including social media, press releases, and events * Developing and disseminating promotional materials, such as brochures and posters, to inform agriculture water-saving technology suppliers and household water-saving technology suppliers about technical support * Launching a campaign to enhance brand awareness among agriculture water-saving technology suppliers The plan also includes the development of a success stories document to showcase the achievements of the project and its partners. Key milestones include: * January 2019: Launch of the Loan Management System (LMS) and the External Hub * February 2019: Completion of the success stories document * March 2019: Organization of the SAWSANA exhibition and the Yarmouk Water Company's promotion of water-saving technologies to households * April 2019: Launch of the campaign to enhance brand awareness among agriculture water-saving technology suppliers * May 2019: Completion of the development of the digital platforms and applications * June 2019: Organization of the three handover events of the communal projects to the final owners * July 2019: Launch of the financial products and schemes The plan will be monitored and evaluated regularly to ensure its implementation and effectiveness.
