Abstract
The project involves the construction of two new water reservoirs, two new booster pump stations, and their associated supply and distribution pipelines in the Al Berkah and Ma'an areas. The Al Berkah project includes the construction of a 3800m3 ground reservoir and a new Booster Pump Station connected to a new UPVC distribution network with an approximate total length of 2.6 KLM varying in diameter. The Ma'an project includes the construction of a 3800m3 ground reservoir and a new Booster Pump Station connected to a new UPVC distribution network varying in diameter. The project's objective is to improve distribution and increase access to clean drinking water to the population of Gaza. The project is being implemented by The Morganti Group, Inc. under Contract No. AID-294-I-00-12-00002 and Task Order No. AID-294-TO-15-00009. The project's progress is monitored and reported on a monthly basis. As of January 31, 2016, the project has achieved a progress of 16.07% in the Al Berkah area and 16.07% in the Ma'an area. The project's progress chart indicates that the construction period has elapsed by 5.61% in both areas. The remaining construction period is 83.93% for both areas.
