Abstract
The project aims to improve the distribution of water and increase access to basic infrastructure and services for the Palestinian population. The objective of this Task Order is to construct two new water reservoirs, two new booster pump stations, and their associated supply and distribution pipelines. The project is being implemented by The Morganti Group, Inc. under Contract No. AID-294-I-00-12-00002 and Task Order No. AID-294-TO-15-00009. The reporting period for this monthly progress report is May 1, 2016, to May 31, 2016. The project is being carried out in Al Berkah, Ma'an, with a focus on improving the water infrastructure in the region. The project scope includes the construction of two new water reservoirs, each with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters, and two new booster pump stations. The associated supply and distribution pipelines will be constructed to improve the distribution of water to the local population. The project also includes the implementation of safety measures, environmental compliance, and community outreach programs. During the reporting period, the project team made significant progress in the construction of the reservoirs and pump stations. The team completed the excavation and foundation work for both reservoirs and began constructing the pump stations. The supply and distribution pipelines are also being constructed, with a focus on ensuring that the water distribution system is safe and reliable. The project team has also implemented various safety measures, including the development of a safety plan and the provision of safety training to all personnel. The team has also conducted regular inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and has implemented measures to minimize the impact of the project on the local environment.
