Abstract
The report highlights the redirection of funding from cancelled and/or postponed activities in Year 2 to support COVID-19 activities from February to March 2021. The main purpose of the redirected funding is to help the Government of Madagascar (GOM) purchase and transport health and expendable commodities from the central level to districts and communes, as well as sensitize the Malagasy people in the eight most affected regions of COVID-19. The report notes that after receiving approval from USAID, two additional regions, Diana and Atsinanana, were included in the supported regions.
