Abstract
The district's purpose is to provide responsive services that include sanitation, streets, drainages, parks, greenery, markets, revenue collection, permits, construction, maintenance, land regulations, financial management, budget development, capital improvement planning, administrative management, donor coordination, and direct interaction with other government agencies. To achieve its objectives, the district office implements the strategy of Kabul Municipality, focusing on key areas such as revenue generation, price control, and measurement, as well as the universalization of the metric system. The district office is also responsible for distributing price lists to businesses, granting trade licenses, property registration, controlling and supervising businesses, and preparing city statistics. Additionally, the district office addresses day-to-day problems of citizens, raises public awareness regarding "City Culture," and implements small projects. The district office is staffed with 44 employees, including 22 permanent staff and 10 contracted staff. The organizational structure includes a District Manager, Statistics Manager, Engineering Manager, Pricing Manager, and other key personnel responsible for various aspects of district operations. The district office reports to the Deputy Administration and Finance of Kabul Municipality and coordinates activities with respective deputies, including administration and finance, city services, construction, and technical departments. The district office has a specific organizational structure, with various positions responsible for different functions. The permanent staff includes a District Manager, Statistics Manager, Engineering Manager, Pricing Manager, and other key personnel. The contracted staff includes personnel responsible for construction, market management, and other areas. The district office's responsibilities include implementing KM policies and plans, revenue generation, price control, and measurement, as well as distributing price lists, granting trade licenses, and preparing city statistics. The district office's activities are coordinated with other departments, including the Policy and Coordination department, Sanitation and Greenery Departments, and other government agencies. The district office's primary focus is on technical affairs, particularly in the engineering and construction sectors.
