Elie Technical Institute began in 2021 with funding from the GlobalQMS ID: 466.2. The grant activity title is Granting 10 scholarships to PET students at St. Elie Technical Institute. The grant activity is meeting the timeline established in the grant agreement and implementation plan. During the reporting period, 10 students received financial assistance and completed the community service courses. The students attended the courses and submitted a service project at the Ma'eda Al-Mahabah restaurant in MINA Tripoli. The students' scores ranged from 14.61 to 10.41 in the academic standing and performance. The attendance rate was 90% due to electricity and internet cuts. The grantee organization, St. Elie Technical Institute, reported that the students were committed to completing the school year and giving an optimistic picture of the team that supported them. The students' desire to obtain the Institute's support and monthly stipend was evident. The students' self-confidence and abilities improved due to community service. The grantee organization plans to continue monitoring the students' progress and performance during the next reporting period. They will focus on developing the students' academic skills and preparing them for the internship placement between August 15 and 30. The students will receive training in communication, time management, teamwork, marketing, and professionalism. They will also learn software tools such as Gmail, Google meet, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Excel.
