Abstract
The program's goal is to contribute to a stable and economically viable Haiti by addressing key infrastructure needs in the areas of health, education, agriculture, economic growth, and democracy and governance. The program is authorized under USAID Haiti contract no. AID-OAA-I-15-000045, task order no. 72052118F00004, with an overall contract value of $22,822,798 to be implemented over a five-year period. As of September 2018, obligated funds totaled $3,826,669.09, with funds earmarked and tracked for use in specific sectors such as WASH, Housing, or Agriculture. AECOM is the implementing partner for the program, with support from subcontractors HS&BR, Garda World, Miyamoto International, Iris Group, WI-HER, and Ethan Myer. The program is currently operating under the guidelines of the revised Year 1 Work Plan approved on 28 September 2018. Key program activities during the reporting period included the mobilization of two short-term technical advisors (STTAs) to conduct a gender assessment and formulate recommendations for a program-wide gender strategy. Staffing changes also occurred, with the hiring of Rose M. Lima as the HIP Program Administrative & Finance Assistant to replace Raymond Jean, who left AECOM on 12 September 2018. AECOM submitted all reports, including contractual deliverables, on time during the reporting period. These reports included USAID Weekly Progress Reports, a List of outstanding items for USAID OAA, and a HIP August 2018 Monthly Report. Additionally, a Gender Assessment Debrief Presentation to USAID was submitted on 26 September 2018, and a Revised Year 1 HIP Work Plan was approved on 28 September 2018.
