Abstract
Since 2016, the DRG Center has organized and disseminated existing data, generated new evidence, and produced conclusions and recommendations. The DRG Center has gathered information from academic research, program evaluations, and multi-method tests of DRG program assumptions and theories of change over the past four years. The Learning Agenda questions were informed by existing DRG research and evaluation efforts and were developed collaboratively by DRG Center Theme Teams and staff from USAID Washington and USAID Missions overseas, as well as through consultations with academics and external experts. The current agenda is divided into three tracks: cross-cutting, process, and team. The cross-cutting track addresses questions related to topics that apply to multiple DRG program areas, such as civil society and governance. The process track addresses questions on how to learn and apply evidence within the DRG sector. Following the finalization of the learning questions, the DRG Center will commission new research and identify existing evidence to address these questions. The Center will also engage with DRG Center teams to develop team learning questions to integrate into the learning agenda. Findings and insights will be shared through dissemination products and events, such as the Annual Learning Forum. The DRG Center welcomes feedback and engagement on the Learning Agenda. The DRG Learning Agenda is focused on addressing questions related to priority development areas. The agenda is designed to promote learning and evidence-based decision-making within the DRG sector. The DRG Center's efforts to gather and disseminate information are aimed at improving the effectiveness of DRG programs and promoting positive change in development outcomes. The Learning Agenda is a key component of the DRG Center's strategy to support the development of more effective and sustainable DRG programs. The DRG Center's work on the Learning Agenda is ongoing, with a focus on addressing questions related to civil society and governance, as well as other priority development areas. The Center's efforts to engage with stakeholders and promote feedback and engagement are aimed at ensuring that the Learning Agenda remains relevant and effective in promoting positive change in development outcomes.
