Grant is provided under the Program Development and Support project (5960000) to the Central American Institute of Public Administration to prepare proposals for a legal framework for the new Central American Integration Process (CAIP).

Abstract

The proposals will cover the following basic aspects of a legal system for CAIP: administrative functions; jurisdictional arrangements; coordination of initiatives with those of the Legislative Powers; strengthening of specialized secretariats; and mechanisms for expression of state interest and of nongovernmental participation.
