Abstract
The program aimed to improve agricultural productivity and increase household income for smallholder farmers in the region. More than 2,500 farmers received training in sustainable agriculture techniques, including composting and crop rotation methods. The program's success was attributed to the effective collaboration between local authorities, farmers, and development partners. The program's geographic focus was on the Tolno and Deftere regions in Senegal's Pulaar-speaking area. The initiative aimed to promote sustainable agricultural practices, improve market access, and increase household income for smallholder farmers in the region. The program's implementation was carried out in collaboration with the Senegalese Ministry of Education and local authorities.
