Abstract
These initiatives, known as Iniciativas de Memoria Histórica (IMH), have been a way for victims of the conflict to share their stories and resist the forgetting of their experiences. The IMH have been a response to the need for people to express their memories and experiences, often in the face of trauma and adversity. These initiatives have taken many forms, including art, music, theater, and community projects. They have been a way for people to process their experiences, to find a sense of dignity and justice, and to resist the erasure of their memories. The CNMH has been supporting these initiatives since 2014, and has provided funding and accompaniment to over 120 IMH projects. These projects have been located in various regions of Colombia, and have taken a range of forms, from community-based initiatives to artistic performances. One of the key aspects of the IMH is their focus on the experiences of women, indigenous communities, and Afro-Colombian communities. These groups have been disproportionately affected by the conflict, and have often been silenced or erased from the narrative of the conflict. The IMH have provided a platform for these communities to share their experiences and to resist the forgetting of their memories. The CNMH has also been working to support the IMH in their efforts to reach a wider audience and to promote a culture of memory and truth-telling in Colombia. This has involved providing training and accompaniment to the IMH, as well as promoting their work through social media and other channels. The IMH have been a key part of the process of transitional justice in Colombia, and have played an important role in promoting a culture of memory and truth-telling. They have also been a source of inspiration and hope for many people in Colombia, who are working to rebuild their communities and to create a more just and equitable society. The CNMH has recognized the importance of the IMH in promoting a culture of memory and truth-telling, and has committed to continuing to support these initiatives in the future. This includes providing funding and accompaniment to new IMH projects, as well as promoting the work of existing IMH through social media and other channels. The IMH have also been recognized as a key part of the process of reconciliation in Colombia, and have played an important role in promoting a culture of forgiveness and healing. They have also been a source of inspiration and hope for many people in Colombia, who are working to rebuild their communities and to create a more just and equitable society. The CNMH has also been working to promote a culture of memory and truth-telling in Colombia, and has been supporting the development of new IMH projects. This includes providing funding and accompaniment to new IMH projects, as well as promoting the work of existing IMH through social media and other channels.
