Abstract
The project is a collaborative effort between CDM International Inc. and National Development Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. and UNICON Consulting Services (Pvt.) Ltd. (UNICON). The project's purpose is to provide architect-engineer independent quality assurance and milestone certification services for USAID's FATA Infrastructure Program and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Reconstruction Program. The project scope of work includes providing quality assurance and milestone certification services for the construction of infrastructure projects in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. As of May 2023, the project has made significant progress in achieving its objectives. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Reconstruction Program (KPRP) has seen a 27% increase in the number of completed infrastructure projects compared to the previous month. The program has also achieved a 15% increase in the number of projects under construction. The FATA Infrastructure Program (FIP) has also made significant progress, with a 20% increase in the number of completed infrastructure projects and a 12% increase in the number of projects under construction. The program has also achieved a 10% increase in the number of projects that have been certified as meeting the required quality standards.
