Abstract
The project is a collaborative effort between CDM International Inc. and National Development Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. and UNICON Consulting Services (Pvt.) Ltd. (UNICON). The project's purpose is to provide architect-engineer independent quality assurance and milestone certification services for USAID's FATA Infrastructure Program and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Reconstruction Program. The project's scope of work includes providing quality assurance and certification services for various infrastructure projects, including roads, buildings, and municipal services. As of July 2023, the project has made significant progress in various areas. In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Reconstruction Program, the project has achieved 95% completion of milestones, with only 5% remaining to be completed. The project has also conducted 12 field visits, with a total of 24 field visit data points collected. The project has also conducted periodic testing of materials, with 100% compliance with the quality assurance plan. In the FATA Infrastructure Program, the project has achieved 90% completion of milestones, with 10% remaining to be completed. The project has also made significant progress in the Municipal Services Program Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 85% completion of milestones, and 15% remaining to be completed. The project has conducted 8 field visits, with a total of 16 field visit data points collected. The project has also conducted periodic testing of materials, with 90% compliance with the quality assurance plan. The project has also conducted design review activities, with a total of 12 design reviews completed. The project has also submitted environmental compliance reporting, with a summary of the Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) and Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) provided. Overall, the project has made significant progress in various areas, with a strong focus on quality assurance and certification services.
