Abstract
The project is part of the USAID Mission Infrastructure Needs Program II, which focuses on the rehabilitation and construction of roads, schools, water, and wastewater projects to improve Palestinians' access to basic infrastructure and services. The project scope includes connecting to the existing Kadim pipeline, constructing approximately 24 km of transmission pipelines with bulk filling stations, building a booster pumping station, and a reservoir. Key project elements include the construction of new facilities, such as the Faqqua and Jalbun Booster Station and the Faqqua Reservoir, as well as the construction of new transmission mains, including connections to Beit Qad, Wadi Ad Dabi, Deir Abu Daif, and Deir Gazala. The project's objective is to improve the water supply system in the target villages, which currently rely on purchasing water from tankers or private wells. The project's scope of work is defined in the Statement of Work (SOW), which outlines the project's objectives, scope, and deliverables. The project's implementation is being managed by The Morganti Group, Inc., with a team of key personnel, including the Task Order Manager, Quality Control Manager, Safety and Environmental Compliance Officer, Surveyor, Certified Welding Inspectors, and other technical experts. The project's progress is being monitored and reported on a monthly basis, with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, traffic control measures, community outreach, and gender action plan implementation. The project's safety record is being closely monitored, with a focus on preventing accidents and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. The project's environmental compliance is also being closely monitored, with a focus on minimizing the project's environmental impact and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The project's community outreach program is being implemented to engage with local communities and stakeholders, with a focus on building trust and ensuring that the project's benefits are shared equitably among all stakeholders. The project's gender action plan is also being implemented to ensure that the project's benefits are shared equitably among all stakeholders, with a focus on promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls. The project's progress is being monitored and reported on a monthly basis, with a focus on tracking key performance indicators, including the completion of construction activities, the installation of new water supply infrastructure, and the improvement of water quality. The project's progress is also being monitored through regular site visits, inspections, and quality control checks. The project's implementation is being closely monitored, with a focus on ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The project's progress is being reported on a monthly basis, with a focus on providing stakeholders with regular updates on the project's status and progress.
