Abstract
The project is led by Resonance, a global development consulting firm, under Contract No. AID-OAA-I-17-00003 / 7200AA19F00025. The project's primary objective is to support the Agency's change management efforts, focusing on the people side of change. The Transformation Change Management Support Team (TCMST) is responsible for leading the efforts, working closely with the Change Management Associate and Senior Change Management Specialist. A key milestone in the project was the Co-Creation Workshop held on December 11, 2019, which brought together representatives from the RMU, Bureau Planning Managers, and Change Management Points of Contact from all six Bureaus. The workshop aimed to define high-level outcomes for change management, identify potential support activities, and generate ideas for measurement. The TCMST has been working closely with the Agency's Restructuring Change Management Team (ARCMT) to develop the Agency-wide Change Management Plan and the Menu of Services (MoS). The MoS is a collection of change management offerings that the TCMST and/or ARCMT can provide to interested Bureaus. The project has also made progress in contractual matters, with Modification One to the Contract being fully executed on December 17, 2019. The Modification reflects changes to sections and "H" Key Personnel. Looking ahead to January 2020, key activities planned include progress updates, meetings with stakeholders, and discussions on the structure and content for upcoming co-creation workshops. The project has received support from the USAID, and the views expressed in this publication do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Agency for International Development or the United States Government. The Restructuring Management Unit (RMU) Change Management Task Order is a critical component of the USAID's restructuring efforts, aiming to support the Agency's change management efforts and improve its overall performance. The project's focus on the people side of change is a key aspect of its approach, recognizing that successful change management requires a deep understanding of the organizational culture and the needs of its employees. The TCMST's work in developing the Agency-wide Change Management Plan and the Menu of Services is a significant step towards achieving this goal. The project's progress and activities are closely monitored and coordinated with the RMU, ARCMT, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project stays on track and meets its objectives. The project's success will have a direct impact on the USAID's ability to implement its restructuring efforts and improve its overall performance.
