Abstract
ACDC's mission is to create a barrier-free and rights-based society for people with disabilities in Vietnam. The organization aims to empower people with disabilities through various initiatives, including training, capacity building, and advocacy. ACDC has been implementing several projects to promote accessibility and promote the rights of people with disabilities. In Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces, ACDC organized workshops on accessibility and health care policies for people with disabilities. The workshops aimed to raise awareness and improve the implementation of policies and regulations related to accessibility and health care for people with disabilities. In Can Tho, ACDC cooperated with the Association of People with Disabilities to organize a workshop on promoting accessibility for people with disabilities in transportation and construction. The workshop aimed to raise awareness and improve the implementation of policies and regulations related to accessibility in transportation and construction. ACDC has also been working to promote the rights of women with disabilities in marriage and family marriages. According to the 2016 survey, there are 5,553,860 people with disabilities aged 18 and over, with a higher percentage of females with disabilities. Women with disabilities face inequality in marriage and family issues, including difficulty in getting married and unmanaged financial management. ACDC has been working to promote the rights of people with disabilities through various initiatives, including training, capacity building, and advocacy.
