Abstract
The MGD is a management system designed to improve the efficiency and productivity of judicial proceedings. The project is supported by the USAID/Paraguay, implemented by the Centro de Estudios Ambientales y Sociales (CEAMSO). The project's main objective is to create a Unidad Técnica (UT) within the Dirección de Planificación y Desarrollo del Poder Judicial (DPDPJ) to oversee the implementation and sustainability of the MGD. The UT will be responsible for planning, accompanying, training, controlling, and evaluating the implementation of the MGD. The UT will be composed of a coordination team led by Abogada Gloria Riveros, a planning team led by Abogado Ramón Romero Jara, a training and liaison team with the Centro Internacional de Estudios Judiciales del Poder Judicial (CIEJ) led by Abogado Rudolf Fisher, and a data processing team led by Abogado Oscar Reinaldo Martínez Saldivar. The UT will also have a support team composed of Abogadas Pamela Robledo, Natalia Martínez, and Gabriela Amarilla. The project's implementation will involve several activities, including the creation of a database to register cases, the training of judges and relators, and the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation. The project's indicators will be established by the CSJ, and the UT will provide quarterly reports on the implementation's progress. The project's implementation will be monitored and evaluated by the UT, which will provide quarterly reports on the implementation's progress. The project's indicators will be established by the CSJ, and the UT will work to improve the efficiency and productivity of judicial proceedings in Paraguay. The project's geographic focus is Paraguay, and the timeframes for the implementation are not specified in the document.
