PROSIP/IRVG (Instituto Rural Valle Grande), technical training program

Grant provided under Program Development and Support Project 5270000 to support efforts of PROSIP/Instituto Rural Vallee Grande (PROSIP/IRVG) in Peru to conduct a technical agricultural training program for members of peasant communities in Yauyos so that they can provide TA and training to the rest of the community.

Abstract

PROSIP/IRVG will: (1) conduct a 60-day training course in Andean agriculture for 20 community technicians and a follow-up course for technicians who attended an earlier course in cattle production; and (2) provide follow-up assistance to the community technicians.
