Abstract
720-674-19-D-00007. The DTS team, comprised of ECODIT and Polaris IT, assumed responsibility for Power Africa database management and other technical tasks previously performed under the USAID Power Africa Transactions and Reform Program (PATRP). During the reporting period, the DTS team expanded its relationships and expanded its relationships and improved its performance across the Power Africa team. The team completed five due diligence reports and five due diligence refresher memos, supporting the Power Africa Partnerships Office (PAPO) in onboarding new partners and maintaining current records. This represents an increase in due diligence activities compared to previous quarters. The DTS team also made significant progress with the Power Africa Transactions Tool (PATT) during this reporting period. The team developed and launched a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module in PATT for Power Africa partnership data, previously stored in the Power Africa Information Systems (PAIS). This shift in relationship data from PAIS to PATT streamlined and harmonized data management processes within Power Africa. To facilitate future ease of use, the DTS Business Analyst created a library of accessible resources, referred to as PATT Knowledge Resources. The Pretoria-based Data Team continued to provide support to implement the PATT, ensuring the successful transition of Power Africa data from PAIS to PATT. The team also worked on the failed or stalled transaction status report, which was completed for the first time during this reporting period under the guidance of Power Africa. The report is available in Annex II, and the findings will be developed into a dashboard in PATT to ensure that this information is current and available in real-time moving forward. The DTS team made significant progress in the first quarter of FY2021, expanding its relationships and improved its performance across the Power Africa team. The team's efforts in due diligence, PATT development, and data management have contributed to the successful implementation of Power Africa's strategic objectives.
