Abstract
KPG activities are closely aligned with the KP Integrated Development Strategy, which integrates government objectives under one framework and provides a roadmap for achieving targets outlined in the Strategic Partnership Development Framework. During the reporting period, eight grant proposals were approved by the Contracting Officer Representative, bringing the cumulative total of approved grants to 48. The total number of completed and closed grants at the close of the quarter was 31, with four grants withdrawn, canceled, or suspended. The 'Strengthening Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Services Commission' grant involved hosting developed reports on a test server for testing and demonstration. The web-based system, web-based system reports, and system reports were deployed via the production server to improve the operational efficiency of the commission. Ninety-five percent of the developed reports were deployed on the Performance Management System production server. The 'Strengthening Provincial Health Care Commission' grant provided short-term technical assistance to the Provincial Health Care Commission with data entry and management information system installation. The grant was technically completed by the end of the quarter. The 'Customization of Zakat Management Information System' grant involved handing over IT equipment and completing the vendor selection process for data entry of 50,000 beneficiaries. In Bannu District, grant activities included 18 sets of three training workshops for 442 councilors on the KP Government Act 2013 and other relevant rules. The 'Establishing Local Government Good Governance Index' grant targeted 4,000 students from 30 different colleges and universities in Peshawar. SMS campaigns were conducted with an estimated 100,000 messages disseminated to the community and stakeholders. The 'Awareness Campaign on Insaaf' grant involved conducting awareness campaigns on the KP Government Act 2013 and other relevant rules. The grant was completed on May 30, 2018.
