Quarterly Report III: October 1st to December 31st 2014

The project focuses on the development of sports and employment opportunities for PWD, with a particular emphasis on victims of the conflict. Implementation of the project's activities began in the third trimester, with a focus on regional tournaments, one per zone, which provided participants with the opportunity to meet and mingle, and allowed for a progress assessment in the sporting process. Uniforms were provided for the activity, and work was done on the identification of providers to improve the logistics of sporting events in the two zones. The professional inclusion workshop was carried out in the cities of both zones, with the exception of Quibdó and Bogotá, which are still pending. These workshops were rescheduled for the month of February 2015. The psycho-social specialist linked to the project used the sporting events to collect data on socioeconomic characterization and apply psychological tests related to quality of life and self-image. These activities include participants' recruitment, purchase of sport equipment and uniforms, training, and organization of regional tournaments.
