Abstract
Health and Rehabilitation activities focused on closing out the majority of Program activities, including training activities for Prosthetic and Orthotic technicians and monitoring and advocacy on public policy. The Program implemented high-level public policy advocacy activities with national entities such as the Ministry of Social Protection and the INVIMA – National Food and Drugs Surveillance Institute. Regarding Socio-Economic Integration, a total of 38 beneficiaries were visited to provide technical support and monitor the activities and performance of their income generation initiatives. Mercy Corps also implemented "accountability to beneficiaries" events in the departments of Nariño, Caquetá, and Cauca. The Program reported 186,620 persons served, consolidated with data from the two rehabilitation centers established in Nariño and Caquetá and the number of participants in the Socio-Economic Integration component, their families, and members of institutions that have been trained. The Program achieved significant progress in various indicators, including the number of persons trained, served, and institutions strengthened. The Program also reported notable achievements in health and rehabilitation services, public policy, and socio-economic reintegration.
