Abstract
These alliances are tailored to the socioeconomic conditions of the region, allowing for associative business models to emerge. The accelerated reintegration model is an intensive three-month program that provides job-oriented services and job placement in the formal market, with a 55% job placement rate. The RPR program focuses on providing comprehensive support to ex-combatants, including academic training, psychosocial support, and job search assistance. The program also emphasizes economic reintegration, with a standard compulsory program that lasts six years and costs the ACR roughly $10,000 over the life of the individual's program. The program includes a socioeconomic solidarity organization, ECOMUN, which manages funds for collective productive projects and advises members on educational and social service institutions. The RPR program has implemented several initiatives to support economic reintegration, including the early reintegration model, small income generation, and comprehensive labor mediation. The early reintegration model provides training, physical materials, and room and board for 91 days, with a cost of $2,677 per participant. The small income generation program creates sustainable, income-generating small businesses with ex-combatants, with a cost of $2,580 per participant. The comprehensive labor mediation program links ex-combatants to the formal labor market, with a cost of $1,139 per participant. The RPR program also emphasizes compliance with international contracting and project execution criteria, working with governments and international organizations to ensure the success of the reintegration process. The program has received support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations, with a focus on providing comprehensive support to ex-combatants and promoting economic reintegration.
