Abstract
The initiative's geographic focus was on Eastern Province, with a specific emphasis on the districts of Kirehe and Nyagatare. The program's timeframes were divided into three phases, with the first phase focusing on project design and implementation, the second phase on midterm evaluation and adjustment, and the third phase on final evaluation and sustainability planning. Recommendations for future initiatives included the need for continued support for farmer training programs, infrastructure development, and market linkage facilitation. Additionally, the importance of engaging local communities and stakeholders in the planning and implementation process was emphasized. The program's success served as a model for future agricultural development initiatives in Rwanda and beyond.
