The COVID-19 Vaccination Learning Exchange for Cities Across the Global South is an initiative launched by USAID in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and NITI Aayog.

Abstract
The program aims to build a global COVID-19 vaccination knowledge management platform and facilitate an exchange of ideas and learnings on pandemic response among cities and countries. The initiative will focus on 16 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Bhubaneswar, as well as 10 cities in South Asian and African countries. The program will develop knowledge products such as an interactive web-based knowledge portal, Best Practices Compendium, and organize virtual forums for cities and countries to learn from each other's experiences. Key discussion topics will include vaccine procurement, governance, digital innovations planning, and management, vaccine supply chain, communications and social mobilization, capacity building, adverse events following immunization, and monitoring and supervision. The program aims to leverage the expertise and experiences of cities and countries to improve COVID-19 vaccination efforts and pandemic response. The initiative has garnered significant media attention, with 42 coverage clips in major publications, including The Times of India, ANI, Republic World, Mint, Business Today, and ET Healthworld. The total readership of these publications amounts to 5.7 billion. The coverage highlights the launch of the COVID-19 Vaccination Learning Exchange for Cities Across the Global South and the program's objectives.
