Abstract
The purpose of this session is to close the workshop, ensure that expectations were met, complete final evaluations, and thank everyone for their time. The facilitator is expected to review the learning objectives with the participants, ensuring that they have been met. This involves showing slides 1 through 4, which summarize the objectives and present them in detail. The facilitator will ask the participants to review the objectives and provide feedback on whether they have been met for each session. The facilitator will also respond to any final questions from the participants, noting that if there are questions or issues that remain unresolved, they should be addressed later by email or other means. The facilitator will distribute the workshop evaluation form to each participant, giving them 10 minutes to complete it. The facilitator will then ask the group for reflections on the workshop, using questions such as what session was most useful, what were the general impressions about the workshop, and what things worked well and could be improved. The facilitator will also discuss next steps for finalizing advocacy strategies with the groups, including deadlines, review processes, and feedback mechanisms. The facilitator will distribute certificates to attendees, if applicable, and ask for closing remarks from the sponsor organization or donor. Finally, the facilitator will distribute the post-test form to each participant and thank everyone for their time and efforts. The post-test form includes questions on policy and policy advocacy, the policy development process, problem statements, policy solutions, and advocacy communication models. The form also asks participants to evaluate the overall content of the training and provide feedback on the facilitators' performance. The workshop evaluation form asks participants to rate the quality of various aspects of the training, including the overall content, sessions, and facilitators. Participants are also asked to provide additional comments and feedback on the training. The facilitator's manual provides a detailed outline of the procedures for the final session of the workshop, ensuring that participants have a clear understanding of the objectives, expectations, and next steps.
