Abstract
The project aims to provide leadership in promoting PYD best practices and offer rapid response and technical assistance support to USAID staff and partners. By the end of the activity, progress by performance areas can be summarized as follows: Activity Management, Task 1, Task 2, Task 3, and Task 4. Task 1 focuses on advancing the PYD Learning Agenda and other youth-related learning agendas. During Year 2, YP2LE made progress toward achievement of the Expected Results in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The project built more robust PYD data and evidence, packaged and disseminated this evidence in user-friendly, actionable tools, resources, and learning products for youth development practitioners. Key accomplishments include the development of a PYD data and evidence framework, the creation of a PYD knowledge management system, and the production of a PYD learning agenda. Task 2 involves growing the PYD Learning Network, increasing the number of traditional and non-traditional partners collaborating, sharing, disseminating, and applying PYD best practices and lessons learned. During Year 2, YP2LE managed and expanded the PYD Learning Network, leveraging it to disseminate and improve the knowledge, skills, and practices of those working in global PYD. The network was used to facilitate collaboration among partners, share best practices, and disseminate learning products. Task 3 aims to enhance the YouthPower.org and YouthLead.org Platforms, increasing the number of stakeholders informed by evidence, knowledge, and data on PYD. During Year 2, YP2LE served to increase the number of stakeholders informed by evidence, knowledge, and data on PYD, including young change-makers, so they can better apply PYD principles and practices. Key accomplishments include the development of a PYD knowledge management system, the production of a PYD learning agenda, and the creation of a PYD data and evidence framework. Task 4 provides rapid response technical support through buy-ins, increasing the number of PYD-focused USAID-funded activities and policies, as well as the capacity and understanding of USAID staff, partners, and youth-led/youth-serving organizations on PYD best practices and youth systems. During Year 2, YP2LE served to increase the number of PYD-focused USAID-funded activities and policies, as well as the capacity and understanding of USAID staff, partners, and youth-led/youth-serving organizations on PYD best practices and youth systems. The project's accomplishments during Year 2 demonstrate progress toward the Expected Results outlined in the RFQ and the Year 2 Annual Workplan. The project's focus on building, expanding, and disseminating PYD evidence and learning, as well as providing leadership in promoting PYD best practices, has contributed to the advancement of PYD and youth development globally.
