ACDC cooperates with various provincial authorities to implement projects focused on social protection and empowerment of people with disabilities (PWDs). In Quang Nam Province, the "Creating Opportunities and Empowering PWDs" project, funded by USAID, concluded in 2021. The project aimed to improve the quality of life for PWDs through vocational training, employment, and accessible infrastructure. A closing conference was held on July 21, 2021, to evaluate the project's outcomes and discuss future directions. Similar closing conferences were organized in Quang Tri Province on July 16, 2021, and Thua Thien Hue Province on July 2, 2021. These events brought together project stakeholders, including PWDs, their families, and local authorities, to share experiences and best practices in implementing policies for PWDs. ACDC also collaborated with the Provincial Association of PWDs and Agent Orange Victims to organize a conference on implementing the Program to Support PWDs in the Period 2021-2030 in Quang Tri Province. This initiative aimed to promote the rights and empowerment of PWDs in Vietnam. In addition to project implementation, ACDC provides information and support to the public through its newsletter. The newsletter addresses various topics, including social assistance policies, legal documents, and success stories of individuals and organizations working with PWDs. The "Creativity from the Heart" contest 2021 was also organized by ACDC to promote the talents and creativity of PWDs. The contest aimed to encourage PWDs to express themselves through art, music, and other forms of creative expression. ACDC's work in Vietnam focuses on promoting the rights and empowerment of PWDs, particularly in the areas of vocational training, employment, and accessible infrastructure. The organization collaborates with local authorities and stakeholders to implement projects and policies that benefit PWDs and their families.
