Abstract
The forum, entitled "Joining Forces to Further Shared Visions," will cover eight themes integral to the lives of women: education and training; family; employment and income generation; health care; political participation -- advancing the interests of women; community and institutional development; women"s rights as human rights; agriculture, livestock, and forestry; and environment. A series of booklets on specific issues will be produced drawing on forum papers and proceedings, and recommendations will be sent to the 1995 UN Women"s Conference in Beijing.
