Grant is provided under the Enterprise Funds project (1800010) to the Czech and Slovak American Enterprise Fund (CSAEF) to provide start-up capital for CSAEF activities to promote private enterprises in the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic.

Abstract

The CSAEF will foster private sector development -- including small businesses, agribusiness, and U.S.-Czechoslovak joint ventures -- through loans, grants, equity investments, feasibility studies, TA, training, and similar measures. Funds may also be used to support the creation of credit unions and the establishment of employee stock ownership plans.
