Abstract
ISU will conduct eight 3-day in-country workshops (three for industrial/business managers, three for academics, and two for government officials), along with an executive workshop at ISU for 20 high-level Czechoslovaks. The seminars are expected to enhance the management skills of 300 managers, 300 educators, and 300 officials. In addition, ISU will produce six 1-hour television programs depicting management and market economy concepts and methods, as used in everyday American life. The programs, which will be in English with Czech and Slovak subtitles, will be transmitted via satellite to the Agriculture Universities in Prague, Nitra, and Brno for further transmission via national television. Advanced teaching technologies (computer programs, videos, etc.) will be provided to the three universities.
