Grant is provided under the Technical Support/Child Survival project (9380500) to Project Concern International to conduct a conference in Nanjing, China, in April, 1992, to discuss women"s and maternal/child health (MCH) issues, especially regarding PVO activities.

Abstract
Activities for the 30 participants, representatives of various PVO"s, A.I.D., and other related organizations, will include workshops, presentations, and group discussions as well as a visit to a rural MCH center. Topics to be addressed include referral services, communication with mothers, and health information systems. Johns Hopkins University"s PVO Child Survival Support Program will cosponsor the conference.
