Abstract
AID-OAA-TO-00040, under the USAID contract AID-EPP-I-00-04-00024, aimed to support USAID's efforts in mainstreaming climate change adaptation and resilience. The task order focused on three objectives: (1) support USAID's efforts in mainstreaming climate change adaptation and resilience, (2) coordinate with other US government agencies to mainstream climate change adaptation and resilience, and (3) identify and respond to emerging issues and fill gaps. Objective 1: Support USAID's efforts in mainstreaming climate change adaptation and resilience involved several activities. Task 1.1.1 revised the Vulnerability and Adaptation (V&A) manual, while Task 1.1.2 developed climate briefs and annexes. Task 1.1.4 provided support for the USAID Adaptation Partnership Workshops. Task 1.3.1 provided support for USAID's efforts in mainstreaming climate change adaptation and resilience. Objective 2: Coordinate with other US government agencies to mainstream climate change adaptation and resilience involved several activities. Task 2.1.1 conducted Adaptation Partnership Workshops, while Task 2.1.2 coordinated with other US government agencies to mainstream climate change adaptation and resilience. Objective 3: Identify and respond to emerging issues and fill gaps involved several activities. Task 3.1.1 supported adaptation planning and implementation, while Task 3.1.2 developed and piloted fast-track implementation concepts. Task 3.2.1 implemented the Community of Practice (CoP) pilot project and research, while Task 3.3.1 coordinated climate services partnership activities.
