Abstract
The project focuses on developing capacities for resolving problems, acquiring knowledge, and promoting critical thinking, care, and solidarity among participants. The module's objective is to stimulate critical thinking, care, and solidarity among participants, enabling them to resolve problems and transform the reality of their contexts. The module's content is centered around the concept of guarantees of security for leaders and leaders of organizations and social movements, as well as defenders and defenders of human rights. The module is divided into several units, with the first unit focusing on guarantees of security for leaders and leaders of organizations and social movements, and defenders and defenders of human rights. The unit is further divided into three themes: the social process of guarantees (PSG), analysis of risk in the context, and analysis of conditions and capacities for protection and self-protection. The PSG theme establishes the obligation to protect human rights for all citizens, with special protection afforded to populations or roles that have suffered higher levels of vulnerability, such as human rights defenders and social leaders. The analysis of risk in the context involves a process of continuous reflection by communities or collectives on factors and actors that may compromise the life, liberty, integrity, and well-being of communities and their leaders and leaders. This analysis is reserved and only shared within the community or collective, and is preferably conducted in small groups of extreme trust among participants. The analysis identifies various risks, including assassinations, feminicides, and massacres, as well as individual and collective threats, physical aggression, sexual violence, and torture. The analysis of conditions and capacities for protection and self-protection involves combining information on risk with conditions and capacities, enabling the identification of risks and the capacity to prevent or intervene to minimize them. This analysis can create installed capacities to level vulnerability to risks. The module's content is designed to promote critical thinking, care, and solidarity among participants, enabling them to resolve problems and transform the reality of their contexts. The project's focus on human and community rights is critical to promoting social justice and protecting the rights of vulnerable populations.
