Abstract
The program's goal is to contribute to a stable and economically viable Haiti, as outlined in the Post Earthquake U.S. Government Strategy (2010-2015). This strategy is based on four pillars: Infrastructure and Energy, Food and Economic Security, Health and Other Basic Services, and Governance and Rule of Law. The program provides OIEE with immediate access to a team of full-time and short-term architects, engineers, and specialized technical experts based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and in AECOM offices throughout the United States. The team is comprised of subcontractors HS&BR, Garda World, Miyamoto International, Iris Group, WI-HER, and Ethan Myer. AECOM is the implementing partner for this project. The program's activities are summarized in the KEY PROGRAM ACTIVITIES section, which highlights progress and accomplishments during the reporting period. The section is divided into three main areas: Generalized Activities, Staffing, and Deliverables and Reports. Generalized Activities include the renovation of Hurricane Matthew clinics, cholera communes engineering oversight, and housing projects. Staffing includes the composition of the project team, including the Chief of Party, Construction Management Consultant, and Contracting Officer's Representative. Deliverables and Reports include task-specific activities, such as the renovation of Hurricane Matthew clinics and cholera communes engineering oversight. The program's financial status is provided in the PROGRAM FINANCES section, which summarizes the financial status of the project for the reporting period. The section includes information on expenditures, income, and budget allocations. The program's schedule is outlined in the SCHEDULE section, which provides a snapshot of the project's timeline and milestones. The section includes information on task completion dates, deadlines, and project deliverables. The Haiti Infrastructure Program is a critical component of USAID/Haiti's development objectives, providing essential support to the OIEE in achieving its goals. The program's activities, financial status, and schedule are closely monitored to ensure that the project is on track to meet its objectives.
