Abstract
This subsequently enhances supply chain responsiveness and supply chain performance. A research model examining the proposed relationships was developed and tested using data from organizations operating in an emerging African country. The results confirmed that IOS-enabled business intelligence allowed firms to obtain information exchange, integration, and integration capabilities. Supply chain responsiveness partially mediated the relationship between information exchange capabilities and supply chain performance, while fully mediating the relationship between integration capabilities and supply chain performance. Supply chain integration capability is an organizational routine perspective. The impact of supply chain integration on responsiveness is moderated by the use of an international supplier network. The role of the quality of shared information in interorganizational systems use is significant. A new criterion for assessing discriminant validity in variance-based structural equation modeling is proposed. Systems collaboration and strategic collaboration have impacts on supply chain responsiveness and market performance.
