Abstract
Key activities included coordinating with Fernando Rodriguez for the delivery of folders, notebooks, and blocks for PFSI, as well as the creation and delivery of a PFSI banner at no cost. Additionally, support was provided in the development of a "Top Ten" list requested by Jeremy Boley, and tweets about PFSI's work were created at his request. The team also collaborated on the development of HOTW, and materials were prepared for a leadership event in Cieneguilla, including logo revisions, folder covers, credentials, and participation certificates. Travel to Pucallpa was undertaken with Victor Miyakawa to coordinate with Ucayali Regional Government representatives regarding the production of a video about SNIFF, which was created by IP. A subsequent trip to Pucallpa was made with Erin Carey and the video's producers to coordinate location visits, interactions with government representatives, and general support for the production team. Coordination was also conducted with the SERFOR Communications Manager to arrange an interview with Fabiola Muñoz in Lima. PFSI events were attended to take photographs and gather information for HOTW, and coordination was undertaken with APM Terminals to request permission to film support footage for the SNIFF video produced by IP. No feedback was received on several proposals presented, including material information for SNIFF, a one-pager on community forest management, suggestions for inventory training, content proposals for USFS/PFSI informational materials, a communication diagnostic report, and activity reports for July and August 2014.
