Abstract
The Alliance worked with each of the allies, as well as local authorities and community leaders, to achieve this goal. In the "Connectivity and Digital Tools in Areas of Alternative Development" component, Yachay Telecommunications continued to implement the Deployment Plan (Fast Track) and developed and implemented the Commercial and Marketing Plan. The plan aimed to sell the portfolio of products and services associated with connectivity. Additionally, the project continued to develop workshops on using digital tools, focusing on the CISCO methodology. As a result, 1,951 people were trained (911 men and 1,040 women) on using digital and technological tools, and 435 people (209 men and 226 women) were trained in the "Entrepreneurship" course on digital entrepreneurship. From the "Access and Use of Rural Financial Services in Areas of Alternative Development" component, Microfinanzas PRISMA put in operation an agency in Tocache and initiated activities to open an agency in Campoverde. Negotiations continued with MiBanco and Financiera Confianza to promote the supply of digital services in the prioritized areas. Advocacy actions were maintained with other financial entities (Caja Municipal Arequipa and Caja Los Andes) to potentially incorporate them into the Alliance. The training process continued in Financial Education, with 3,067 people trained (931 men and 2,136 women) in 180 groups. Additionally, a workshop was developed for the administrators of the Telecenters in La Victoria, Alto el Sol, Huicungo, and Piscoyacu, as well as the first group of promoters from the region of San Martin, on the use, services, and benefits of BIM. The workshop also covered general aspects about operating the BIMER (points of attention where effective transactions are made). In the "Fixed Amount Awards" component, a donation agreement was signed with Microfinanzas PRISMA (for US$ 200,000.00). The disbursement of US$ 75,631.00 was made, corresponding to the payment of the first milestone: installation and equipping the office in Juanjuí. The activities in the "Challenge Funds" component were centered on mapping the actors that currently participate or promote financial innovation in the country. The first call for the Challenge Funds has been planned for the next quarter. In the "Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning" component, the process of developing a System for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (SIMEL) was completed. A methodological transfer was conducted to the area teams to keep the system fully operational. The statistical processing of the data obtained in the Alliance's base line was also finished. These will be presented during the next period. Information about the training activities in USAID's TrailNet Program is being done. The regional launches of the Cr3ce Alliance were held in the cities of Tarapoto, Pucallpa, and Tingo Maria. The first Ally Committee meeting was also held successfully, according to the governance plan. The aspects related to the Cr3ce Alliance and the role each ally should play were socialized during the meeting.
