Abstract
The program's success was attributed to the effective collaboration between local government, farmers, and development partners. The initiative's focus on sustainable agriculture practices and market linkage facilitation helped to improve the livelihoods of rural communities. The program's impact was also felt in the area of gender equality, with women-headed households showing higher adoption rates for sustainable agriculture practices. The initiative's long-term goal is to achieve food security and improve the livelihoods of rural communities in Rwanda. To achieve this goal, the program will continue to focus on sustainable agriculture practices, market linkage facilitation, and capacity building for local farmers and development partners. The program's success will be monitored and evaluated through regular assessments and evaluations. The initiative's geographic focus is on the Eastern Province of Rwanda, where the program is being implemented in collaboration with local government and development partners. The program's timeframes are as follows: the first year focused on farmer training and infrastructure development, while the second year focused on market linkage facilitation and capacity building. The program's recommendations include the need for continued support for sustainable agriculture practices and market linkage facilitation, as well as the need for increased investment in infrastructure development.
